Old Bay seasoning (a little more to taste)
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. Dijon mustard (I use more to taste)
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs

Empty can of crab meat into bowl. Remove any shell. Add onion, green pepper, parsley, Old Bay seasoning and baking powder. Mix well. Add mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, egg and bread crumbs.

Broil 3-5 minutes on each side until brown.

The sauce I made to go along with this was a simple mustard sauce. I took about 3/4 cup of good mayo, 3 TBS dijon mustard, 1 TBS whole-grain dijon. Dijon can be spicy so mix to your taste.Norahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17969744400530480643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2367907024894411160.post-41806191763327213202009-12-28T11:04:14.652-05:002009-12-28T11:04:14.652-05:00The crab cakes were superb!
